raw test recordings in 1996 of a quadraphonic feedback system later used in performance in 2 channel form for the recording of the track "medium" and eventually leading to the device used in "feedback in a lover's telegraph". these recordings were never considered finished or fit for release and are very difficult listening, but the results were so strange and unexpected that I felt that they needed to be made public. also heard here are the sounds of lance the starling shortly before his untimely death.
